Our Story

My name is Suzanne and I’m the mother of three, now adults, children. I was raised on a small cattle farm in Barnston West Québec. Although I left the farm and worked several jobs here and there, I always dreamed of having my own farm one day. In 2016, I came back to the area to build on my parents’ farmland, along with my kids and a few alpacas. My dream was becoming a reality and our happy herd had grown to 24 alpacas, several goats, chickens, and honey-bee hives!

Along with farming, I was making soy candles, beeswax candles, and goat milk soap. I also carried alpaca fibre products, and have been taking part in Summer and Christmas markets for more than a decade.

While I farmed alpacas and goats for a few years, I took the hard decision to sell my animals in 2024 and focus more on the fabrication of my soy candles and goat milk soaps, which I’m passionate about. I continue to sell alpaca products because I just love them and truly believe in their quality. My creations and products are now sold in my online boutique and in local stores.

Libby Mill

Our name comes from the fact that my father used to own a wood mill where the farm is now; and long ago, this area was known as Libby Town … So we called it Libby Mill!
